Same-day ticket purchases are available.
The difference between same-day tickets and advance tickets is that the prices for advance tickets may
vary due to exchange rates, and the amounts shown on the website reflect the current rate.

Q.Important Notes Regarding Tickets
Ticket Information <Discount for Persons with Disabilities>
・Only for same-day ticket sales at the venue, please present your disability certificate (Physical Disability Certificate
“Mental Disability Insurance and Welfare Handbook,” or “Rehabilitation Handbook”) at the ticket window, you can purchase same-day tickets at the window for 【Adults: ¥2,500 / Children: ¥1,200】. Those requiring assistance may also purchase tickets at the same price for up to one accompanying person.
※Please note that no discount tickets are available for the Immersive Theater.
We appreciate your understanding.
・Tickets cannot be changed or canceled once purchased.
・Under no circumstances will tickets be refunded or changed.

Q.Please tell how to purchase tickets and the payment methods.
All advance tickets can be purchased through e-plus.
Same-day tickets can be purchased through e-plus or at the KNF same-day ticket counter located at the Ema Hall within Kitano Tenmangū Shrine.
The following payment methods are accepted at the venue:

Q.What time do you sell tickets at the ticket counter on the day?
Tickets will be sold at the venue until the end of the reception period.
Same-day ticket sales hours: 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM -
Q.I have left my ticket at home or lost it. Can it be reissued?
We apologize for any inconvenience, but unfortunately we are unable to assist with forgotten or lost tickets. We kindly ask that you purchase a new ticket, such as a same-day ticket, to attend the event.

Q.If my smartphone (used to display my e-ticket) runs out of battery, are there any charging stations available?
Unfortunately, there are no charging stations available inside the venue. Please ensure your device is sufficiently charged before arriving.

Q.Is there a chance the event might be canceled?
In the event of planned service suspensions on the JR Kyoto Line or other lines due to typhoons, heavy snowfall, etc., the it may close temporarily.
In such cases, we will announce the closure via our official SNS (X, Instagram).
Visitors holding admission tickets are advised to check the exhibition period before visiting.

Q.Is an admission fee required to enter Kitano Tenmangu Shrine?
There is no admission fee for entering and visiting Kitano Tenmangu Shrine.

Q.Is re-entry allowed?
Re-entry is permitted only on the same day of admission.

Q.Is there an admission limit?
Depending on visitor numbers and congestion on the day, admission to the Plum blossom garden “Flower Garden” may be restricted.
Please take appropriate cold-weather precautions depending on the season. -
Q.Can I enter the Plum blossom garden “Flower Garden” with an Immersive Theater viewing ticket?
Yes, you may enter.
The Immersive Theater viewing ticket includes the Installation ticket.
In principle, admission to the Plum blossom garden “Flower Garden” is valid only on the same day as your Immersive Theater viewing. -
Q.What happens if the Plum blossom garden “Flower Garden” is closed on the day of my Immersive Theater viewing?
We sincerely apologize, but you will not be able to enter the Plum blossom garden “Flower Garden” on that day.
In such cases, a “KYOTO NIPPON FESTIVAL Installation Ticket” will be provided at the Immersive Theater reception desk. -
Q.If another event is being held at Kōbaiden – Funade Garden, can I enter with a KNF ticket?
▼ Admission availability varies depending on the following dates and conditions:
・This area will be open to the general public from March 25.
・On February 25 and March 14, other events will be held. A ticket for the respective event is required for admission.
Entry with a KNF ticket will not be permitted.
・From March 23 to March 25, the area will be closed due to preparation, and admission will not be permitted.

Q.Can I enter with a stroller or wheelchair?
Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted in the Plum blossom garden “Flower Garden” and Odoi Baikōken.
However, please note that some pathways are narrow and there are sloped areas, so kindly exercise caution when passing through. -
Q.Are wheelchairs available for rent?
Wheelchairs are not available for rental.

Q.Can I bring my pet?
You are welcome to visit with your pet.
Please carry your pet or use a pet stroller during your visit.
We kindly ask for your consideration toward other guests.

Q.Is there parking available?
Parking fee: ¥600 for the first hour, ¥200 for each additional 30 minutes
(no maximum charge; same rates apply on weekends and holidays).
Open 24 hours. Cash, credit cards, and various electronic payment methods are accepted.
Visitors entering paid areas such as the Treasure Hall or Plum Garden will receive a 90-minute parking service ticket for the worshipper parking lot.
Service tickets are issued at the Ema Hall.
Please note that there are no designated parking spaces exclusively for persons with disabilities. -
Q.Are there rest areas (with diaper-changing tables), nursing rooms, or children’s toilets available?
There is no dedicated nursing room available. However, in urgent cases such as breastfeeding or diaper
changing, please inquire at the reception of Bundō Kaikan.
There are no children’s toilets. -
Q.Could you tell me about the accessible facilities available at the venue?
Access to the Plum blossom garden “Flower Garden” and the Odoi Baikōken is possible, although there are some narrow pathways and slopes along the route.
For visitors entering from the Rōmon Gate, a ramp is available at the side gate.
There are no steps at the East Gate, so you may enter directly.
The North Gate has stairs; therefore, please use either the East Gate or the Rōmon Gate side. -
Q.Are there any restaurants, cafés, or vending machines within the grounds?
Vending machines are available at the Ema Hall.
There are no restaurants or cafés within the grounds. -
Q.Is smoking prohibited within the grounds? Is there a designated smoking area?
Smoking is strickly prohibited throughout the entire grounds.

Q.Is there bicycle or motorcycle parking available?
Bicycle parking areas are available to the left of the First Torii Gate, to the right of the Rōmon Gate, and to the right of the East Gate (when facing each gate).
Bicycle parking is free of charge. -
Q.What is the nearest station?
The venue is a 5-minute walk from Kitano-Hakubaicho Station (Keifuku Electric Railroad). City buses are also available from JR Kyoto, JR Nijo, JR Emmachi, Subway Imadegawa, Keihan Demachiyanagi, Hankyu Omiya, and Hankyu Saiin stations. Please get off at the Kitano Tenmangu-mae bus stop, which is just steps from the venue.

Q.Will merchandise be available for purchase at the venue?
Yes, merchandise will be available.
KNF original goods will be sold at the Ema Hall.
Customers without tickets may also purchase merchandise.
Please note that some items are available only to customers holding an Immersive Theater viewing ticket.
Tenmangū official items are available at the amulet office in front of the Main Hall, and products from Sasaki Shuzō will be sold at the Ema Hall. -
Q.Can merchandise be purchased outside the venue?
Merchandise is available for purchase only at the venue.

Q.Will sold-out items be restocked at a later date?
Items may sell out depending on stock availability.
Information regarding sold-out items and additional production will be announced via social media and other channels. -

Returns, refunds, and exchanges are not accepted.
Only defective items may be exchanged for the same item in good condition (including after the day of purchase). -
Q.Can merchandise be shipped from the venue?
Shipping from the venue is not available.

There is no limit on the number of items that can be purchased.

Q.Who should I contact if there is a problem with a purchased item?
If you are still at the venue on the day of purchase, please contact the merchandise sales counter for assistance.
If you have already left the venue, please contact us through the inquiry form on the official KNF website. -
Q.Are shopping bags available for a fee?
Shopping bags are available for purchase at ¥100 each.

Q.Will the exhibits be changed or replaced?
There are no plans to change or replace the exhibits.

Q.Could you tell me the ingredients of the sweets included with the ticket?
Glutinous rice (domestically produced), sugar, plum paste, miso, and starch.

Q.When will the Historic Site Odoi Maple Garden “Green Maple” be open to the public?
The Historic Site Odoi Maple Garden “Green Maple” is scheduled to be open from April 1 to late June.
Please note that tickets for the Historic Site Odoi Maple Garden “Green Maple” are sold separately for ¥500.
Ticket purchase and the entrance are located on the west side of the Main Hall. Please note that this is different from the entrance to the KNF paid area.
Holders of a Historic Site Odoi Maple Garden “Green Maple” ticket are not permitted to enter the KNF paid area (Plum blossom garden “Flower Garden”). If you also wish to enter the Plum blossom garden “Flower Garden,” discounted admission is available at the KNF same-day ticket counter at the Ema Hall for ¥2,500 (adults) / ¥1,200 (children). Please present your Historic Site Odoi Maple Garden “Green Maple” ticket. -
Q.Are there any closed days?
There are closed days. Please check the official website for further information, which will be announced at a later date.
